nyfw recap…

we had the best time traveling to new york this past week and enjoying the city during the best week of the year… fashion week! we visited some showrooms, had some meetings, and indulged in some yummy food. you can read alllll about it below!

where we stayed

empire hotel

we stayed at the fabulous empire hotel located in between central park and lincoln square. this area was filled with multiple amazing restaurants, a quick walk to central park, columbus circle, and broadway, and was the perfect spot for a girls getaway. we enjoyed going on the rooftop for pre-dinner drinks and enjoying the amazing view of the city at sunset. the hotel staff was very helpful and always made us feel safe and at home. they called taxis for us and there was always a doorman there, even late at

i would definitely recommend this hotel for your next trip to the city!

where we ate

little ruby’s, black seed bagels, dim sum palace, empire hotel rooftop, electric lemon, café fiorello

we made sure to hit alllll the good nyc foodie spots while we were there. there were many places i wanted to try and others i had never heard of, but overall everything was 10/10!

our first meal was at balthazar in the heart of SOHO. we both got the chicken club sandwich and it was delicious! a little pricey, but the service was incredible and we the ambience of the restaurant was like none other!

our next stop for dinner was little ruby’s in the west village. here we indulged in some delicious wine and spicy vodka pasta. the service was incredible, the ambience of the restaurant was fun and trendy! we stopped by the spainard and fiddlesticks after dinner for some drinks! overall 10/10!

the next morning we grabbed brunch at sant ambroeus. a beautiful restaurant inside and out on 5th avenue! the food was okay and service wasn’t great but the atmosphere made up for it! i got two fried eggs with a side of toast and bacon (which was $30), a lot of food but still a lot for two eggs! overall 7/10!

we decided to grab lunch at dim sum palace (we were craving dumplings lol). it was a little hole in the wall near 5th avenue. service was incredible and the dumplings were pretty good as well! i got six chicken soup dumplings and bbq pork bao buns. overall 8/10!

that night for dinner we stumbled into a little restaurant that was across the street from our hotel called café fiorello. this place was packed all day long, so we knew it had to be good (which it was)! we got proscuitto and burrata as an appetizer and just a margherita pizza for our entree. the appetizer was incredible as was the pizza. there’s nothing better than a new york slice! overall 10/10!

for our last morning we grabbed black seed bagels, which is my personal fav! just an everything with a fried egg and cheese and a side of cream cheese. overall 10/10! (they also ship!!)

our last night for dinner we grabbed food and drinks on the equinox hotel rooftop restaurant electric lemon in hudson yards. the ambience was 11/10, but the food and service was subpar. definitely more of a pre-dinner or post-dinner drinks spot! plus you have an insane view of the hudson river. *go at sunset for the best experience!

we made all of our reservations through resy or open table! none of these restaurants were ever hard to get into and they all had incredible service!
