A Peek Into My Pinterest…
It’s a Posh fall over here and I am SO excited for it! I have spent endless hours on Pinterest looking for the best outfit inspiration for fall! This fall, I am loving incorporating two tone fabrics into my outfits. Things like leather and sherpa, or silk and sequins. I have so much fun layering different piece and crafting the perfect fall outfits. With that being said, almost all of my inspiration comes from Pinterest boards. This is my favorite outlet for finding inspiration for not just fashion, but so many other things!
There are so many trends that have popped up this fall that I’ve been absolutely loving! First, Canadian tuxedos are everywhere! If you are unfamiliar, a Canadian tuxedo is just a matching denim set. Micro skirts are making a come back and wow! I’m so excited! A micro-skirt paired with a knee high boot is the perfect fall outfit! Every fall wardrobe needs a good knee high boot. Whether it’s black, brown, or white, a knee high boot is essential in every fall wardrobe. Another fall obsession of mine are mink coats. They’re so luxurious looking and so fashionable. My last, and probably most favorite, trend for the fall is incorporating rosettes into every single outfit! Whether it is sewn onto an outfit, or a simple neck piece you add to a basic look, rosettes are back and better! This accessory and embellishment originated in the 80s and was a staple in the series Sex and the City. It is the accessory of the season and it’s perfect!
One trend that is coming back this fall, and not many people are happy about it, is skinny jeans! I’m a big skinny jean stan, so I am so excited about this! But, many people are dreading the come back of this style of pant! If you are someone that is not excited about this comeback, let me give you some ways you can style them to be on trend…
— Skinny jeans should always be paired with a tall, riding style boot. Pair this with a sweater that matches the boots and a simple jacket over top.
— You can also pair the skinny jeans with a good heel for a more chic, dressy look. Pair it with a silky dress shirt, a pair of stilettos, and a blazer and you’re set!
